On November 29, in Brussels, Belgium, the representatives of GazIntech participated in the Maritime Security 2012 roundtable as experts in the sphere of production and control of personal documents systems and biometric technologies. The representatives of the international organizations, officials from the government agencies of the European and African countries as well as scientists in the related fields were present during the discussion.

The purposes of the event were to consider issues related to the shipping safeguarding in the West of the African Coast of the Atlantic Ocean and in the Gulf of Guinea, the methods of organized crime and piracy control in the Eastern Africa and Indian Ocean as well as maritime security practices in view of the information technologies.

As a part of their display stand GazIntech experts have demonstrated a number of information solutions such as the System of Production and Control of Biometrical Identity Documents as well as Automated System for Passport Control «Sapsan». Participants have shown much interest in the displayed projects.

GazIntech was invited as a chief organizer of the event — International Centre for Parliamentary Studies — to participate in the events organized by the Center in the future.
