On January 17-19, in Haugesund, the directorate of the maritime industry of Norway held an international conference on the issues of Convention (revised) about identification of sailors (Convention #185). Cofounders of the conference were International Labor Organization and International Maritime Organization. Delegates from more than 13 countries took part in the conference. Russian delegation took active part in the conference; one of the members of the delegation was a representative of GazIntech as a company that developed a Russian system of issuance and control of identification papers of sailors.
During the conference the representatives of the organizers — International Labor Organization and International Maritime Organization — gave a report on ratification and realization of the provisions of Convention #185. The parties exchanged the information on the situation status in the part of ratification of Convention № 185 and arrangement of issuance of national ID papers to sailors in each country. Go back |
